Packed
Bags are packed, just have to grab the toiletries in the morning and we are set to go. The plan is to leave the house around noon and hit the boat around 12:30. So nice to live in a port town!
Isn't everything good on toast?

Mom and Dad are on their way here. They should be here in a couple of hours, traffic providing. The house is clean, their beds are made and the roast is cooking as we speak. I know they had some traffic problems yesterday and had to make a detour, hopefully today it was clear driving.
Don't forget to have a fruity, frothy drink for me. :) Oh, and hi to mom and dad!!
It's a good thing! I just got a call from the people I interviewed with last week and pending a background check, I'm in! Really not worried about a background check as I have nothing to hide and my credit is good. Thankfully college days there were no official reports

Where am I going? How long will it take? These are a few of the questions that I've been asking myself this week. I tend to do this around my birthday every year. I guess it's kind of a way for my to check myself that I haven't wandered off. Five more weeks of school and I'm feeling like I should have a job already lined up, but I don't. I have my application in with the school district but they aren't doing any hiring until just before next years school year.
God, I hope I get it.
I hope I get it.

I hope you get that job, too. They would be fools to not hire you. :)

I LOVE the link. I almost wet my pants. I'm going to steal it, hope that's ok. I caught Hunter singin yesterday. I said.."What did you just sing?"....He said "Secret Asian Man". I LOST IT!!!!!! Get it...Secret Agent man. He takes after you!!!
XOXOXOXO
hehe, or at least Guitar Hero says I will become one...Jerry bought me Guitar Hero III for my birthday. It's a blast but I just got boo'd off the stage three times! Too funny!
For anyone who has missed this series on HBO, run to your nearest DVD Rental/Purchase store and check it out. I have to warn you that it is full of violence, profanity, nudity, drug use, etc. However, it is real. Too real. Scary real. Every season I think, "Ok, they can't keep this up...this isn't how life really is." But I read the news, and sure enough the stories are there. David Simon isn't afraid to put it out there, and thankfully HBO is a great place for his work.
I hate going to the doctor. I think sometimes it's a waste of money and if I just tough it out I'll be just fine. This time was different. I'm really glad I went because I have a few infections that need to be knocked out before the cruise. The ones in my ears especially. I don't need to already be having balance problems and then try to get my sea legs. Although it would be fun to see. I'm on day 3 of taking medicine and am feeling a little better but still not 100%. I am taking a break from the internship the rest of this week to help with the recuperation. It's been an odd semester with colds/flu and now this.

I hate losing anything, so for me to lose an hour of time annoys me. Sure, I know that I get it back in the fall but that is far away. This is going to take me a week to adjust to. Guess I just need to suck it up.

Maybe your advisor can come up with something else for you to keep up your skills.
My cold/flu is lingering. I'm tons better but just not 100%. I'm tired of resting though. I want to get out there and do something. The weather today though will keep me in. Rainy with a few thundershowers. Ok..so I don't really want to go out in that. I do have plenty of things to do around the house. It's a mess. Actually mess is too nice of a word for the condition of the house.

I think I'm getting better because last night I was able to go to bed without using NyQuil.
I still miss the Nyquil with the good ol' pseudoephedrine in it. It's just not the same, but it will do in a pinch. :)
Glad you're feeling better.
This past week has been a rough one. Sore throats, fevers, and now my ears are full and I can't hear very well. I'm doing better then I was a week ago but still not 100%. I'm hoping by midweek I'm doing better.
