I started clipping coupons.  I am inspired by the TLC Show “Extreme Couponing” but am not going to become a hoarder. I don’t need 68 bottles of mustard or 20 boxes of pasta, nor do I have the space to store all of that. I am amazed at how much money they save.  I also think it’s cool that they use their couponing skills to buy for food shelters.  You’d think that food shelters would be doing that too.   Today was the first day we used coupons.  It wasn’t much, $2.40 savings.  It’s a start right?

We did splurge and get a Keurig coffee maker today.  I am hoping that it will save some money (Gas money, grocery money) as I won’t need to drive to Starbuck to get my morning coffee. We waste so much by brewing a full pot and only getting a couple of cups from it.  We’ll see how it goes.  Even bought some breakfasty things so I won’t buy the Veggie Artisan Breakfast Sandwiches. They are yummy, but I can eat breakfast at home for much cheaper. That should save some cashola too.
